Is the X-Box 360 Technology at it's Max??

Was reading Yahoo! games today and an interesting article caught my eye. It was about the X-box 360's technological limits. According to them, The X-box, as we have it now, may be the best it can get. No more upgrades. Finished. Caput. However, it also explores the possibility of it really mattering. Look at the Wii....the least technical of all the next-gen consoles; it's also the most successful of the three. "How is this possible?" one may ask. I'll tell you why. The Wii is the most fun console that there has ever been. It attract a wider range of audiences, not just the hard core gamers. Now, let's examine the PS3. It is, technologically-wise, the best of all three. Blu-Ray, arguablly the best graphics, best design, and probably the best games. Yet it's failing.....Why? For a number of reasons.
1. Price tag, For the casual consumer, the price tag is way too steep, despite us gamers knowing it's a great deal for everything that comes with it.
2. It's a foreign product, During this economy, the consumer wants to buy American. Sony, as many of you know, is a Japanese company.
3. Limited number of games, Despite the games QUALITY, there is a low QUANTITY of games. Compared to the 360 or the Wii anyway.
For me, I still love the PS3. In my opinion its the best out of the three consoles. What about you guys? Tell me what you think.

The Beginning

Hey All,

Just wanted to tell everyone a little about myself before I start blogging like a madman. I'm a die-hard gamer of all kinds; Whether they are video games, card games, board games, or my personal favorite....tabletop wargaming! Not all tabletop wargaming but the greatest of all: The Lord of the Rings SBG. Considering my love for all things orcish it seemed only appropriate that my blog be titled: The Gaming Orc. This blog is for all the gamers in the world (especially the Orc ones) that need a place to get cool info about what they love. I also have a very special interest for World of Warcraft. In addition, this blog is a great place to discuss the Console Wars and new game and miniature releases as well. I'm also hoping to stir interest in my readers about Dungeons and Dragons (the greatest pen-and-paper RPG ever made!)
I'm going to try my best to post everyday. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask.
